Enyeama celebrates son at former Ligue 1 club

Former Super Eagles goalkeeper and captain Vincent Enyeama has celebrated his son, who is now with the Lille U18s.

"God is the greatest, Home sweet home, back home in a different skin," Enyeama posted on Facebook accompanied by photos of his son.

Enyeama shone with Lille. He first joined the club in July 2011 from Israel.

Following an excellent 2013, and ahead of the 2013-2014 season, Lille coach René Girard handed Enyeama the No 1 shirt.

Enyeama along with the defensive quartet of Sidibé, Kjær, Basa, and Béria, in front of him, formed an impenetrable wall that left opposing attackers frustrated.

From September 15, 2013, to December 3, 2013, Enyeama kept clean sheets in 11 consecutive matches, thwarting the likes of Sochaux, Lyon, Monaco, and Marseille.

The streak came to an end on December 8, 2013, against Bordeaux, but the impact lingered, solidifying his place in history.

Enyeama was at LOSC from October 26, 2011, to April 15, 2017, featuring in 164 matches and keeping 65 clean sheets.
