Dynamic entertainment entrepreneur Dayo Adeneye has opened up on the reason for his rift with Kenny Ogungbe co-founder of Kennis Music.
Adeneye described the rough moments when he and Keke fell out in a lively and animated talk show interview with comedian Teju Babyface.
He recalled asking his father for his advice during the disagreement. His father's advice was startlingly straightforward but profound:
"If their disagreement was about something as unimportant as money or a woman, they ought to figure out a way to share it. Nothing should stand in their way."
Dayo Adeneye made it clear that he and Keke Ogungbe had never fought over money. According to Dayo Adenye, he and his friend fell out because of a woman.
Dayo Adeneye and Ogungbe's relationship has weathered many storms since they launched Kennis Music in 2000, a label that propelled many Nigerian music superstars to success, including 2face, Eedris AbdulKareem, Tony Tetuila, Sound Sultan, Jaywon, and many others.
