Social media influencer, Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as Verydarkman has opined the National Cybercrime Center of the Nigeria Police Force is better than the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
Speaking in an Instagram Live session, VeryDarkMan said he was more confident in the ability of the agency to turn down bribe requests and prosecute the issues than the EFCC.
He said in his video which is in reaction to the arrest of Crypto billionaire, Linus Williams who is popularly known as BLord. BLord has been charged with cryptocurrency fraud, terrorism funding, and aiding internet fraud among others against his companies.
Force spokesperson, Muyiwa Adejobi confirmed his arrest to The Punch adding that there were several complaints about his companies.
"NPF_NCCC is not EFCC. For me, they are 10 times better than EFCC. This one I can beat my chest so that they dont collect bribes. To the best of my knowledge, they dont take bribes for anything. Let us assume they take bribes, you see that commissioner of police, Ifeanyi Henry, he won't take bribes from anybody that is something I know," he said in excerpts of the video.
He continued: "Why do you think i come online to brag, because I know where to go and they will take that money"
"He continued, the main truth of this BLord matter is that it seems that my case at the end of the day was like the tip of the iceberg, it was as if some people had already brought a bigger petition from the higher places."
