Nigerian singer, Chima emerges as the winner of the ninth season of Nigerian Idol on Sunday's finale, defeating fellow finalists Lammy and Chioma.
Chima received a grand prize of N30 million, an SUV, a record deal, and a video shoot for his victory.
During their last performance, Chioma wowed the audience with her impressive covers of Jodie's "Kuchi Kuchi" and Jennifer Hudson's "One Night Only".
Chima's soulful renditions of Dare Art Alade's "Not the Girl" and Stevie Wonder's "As" amazed the judges. Meanwhile, Lammy's heartfelt performances of 2baba's (formerly 2face) "African Queen" and Alexandra Burke's "Hallelujah" received thunderous applause from the guests.
The finale featured performances by Simi, Chike, Progress, Victory Gbakara, and a special thank-you performance by Judge Omawunmi and evicted contestants.
