A look at Chelsea manager record under Todd Boehly shows that Pochettino was underrated

Chelsea had been managed by five different managers before Enzo Maresca was appointed. Meanwhile, a look at the club's manager record under Todd Boehly shows that Pochettino was underrated.

Todd Boehly's team met Thomas Tuchel at the club after their purchase and sacked the German after just seven games. They stated that their reason for sacking Tuchel was that they didn't share the same vision with him. Graham Potter was appointed as Tuchel's replacement and the former Brighton manager had one of the worst runs in the club's history. He was sacked after 31 games and an interim manager, Bruno Saltor took charge.

Bruno Saltor managed one game before Frank Lampard was appointed to take control for the rest of the season. Lampard claimed just one win in eleven games and left at the end of the season.

Mauricio Pochettino was appointed in the summer of 2023 and he took charge till the end of last season as Chelsea finished sixth in the Premier League table. He also guided them to finish as runners-up in the Carabao Cup and got knocked out in the FA Cup semi-final. The Argentine departed Chelsea based on mutual agreement.
