Pop star Justin Bieber has performed at the pre-wedding ceremony of billionaire heir Anant Ambani in Mumbai.
The event, attended by Ambani's fiancée Radhika Merchant, family, and friends, featured Bieber singing more than a dozen of his hit songs, including "Baby," "Love Yourself," and "Peaches."
Justin Bieber, 30, who boasts an estimated net worth of $300 million, shared glimpses of the extravagant event on Instagram.
The photos and videos included a backstage slideshow with the bride and groom-to-be. Dressed in a white tank top, sagging black pants, and a backward baseball cap, Bieber posed with Ambani, Merchant, both 29, and their loved ones.
During his performance, Justin Bieber engaged with the audience, handing the microphone to front-row guest Orhan Awatramani, who enthusiastically sang along to the 2015 hit "Where Are Ü Now."
The singer's Instagram posts also provided a peek into his brief stay in India, showing him enjoying a limousine ride to the venue and relaxing in his hotel suite.
Following his performance at the sangeet, Bieber returned to the United States to reunite with his wife, Hailey Bieber, who is expecting their first child.
Anant Ambani is the son of Mukesh Ambani, the chairman and managing director of Reliance Industries and the richest person in Asia, with a net worth of $123.4 billion according to Forbes. The Ambani family has been preparing for the July 12 wedding for months.
In March, Rihanna was reportedly paid $6 million to perform for the couple at a celebration attended by fellow billionaires Bill Gates and Mark Zuckerberg. In May, the Ambanis hosted a three-day cruise from Italy to France for their relatives, featuring performances by Katy Perry, Pitbull, and David Guetta.
