The Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has advised Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, to beg the Nigerian government to secure his freedom.

Primate Ayodele, warned that the embattled IPOB leader would die in detention if he refused to beg the Nigerian government for his freedom.

Ayodele, gave the advice, during the launch of his 30th "Warning to the Nations" at his church in Lagos on Saturday.

Recall that Kanu is currently locked up by the Department of State Services, DSS, on the orders of the Nigerian government.

Currently, there is fear and apprehension among residents of Ado-Ekiti as dare-devil gunmen, again, shoot dead a middle-aged woman, Saturday morning.

Our Correspondent gathered that the incident happened at a junction close to the Federal Polytechnic, Ado Ekiti Continuing Education Center, off NTA road, Ado Ekiti around 7am.

Recall that no fewer than four persons, were shot dead by gunmen in Ado-Ekiti in the last few weeks in similar circumstances.

The locals said the assailants, came on a bike and attempted to collect the bag of the woman who was standing by the road.

Heart surgeon and reform advocate Masoud Pezeshkian has won the contested presidential runoff in Iran.

The lawmaker, who has promised to reach out to the West for reforms to reposition Iran for advancement won the presidential run-off by beating hard-fighting rival Saeed Jalili.

"By gaining a majority of the votes cast on Friday, Pezeshkian has become Iran's next president," the country's Ministry of Interior said on Saturday.

Pezeshkian got 53.7 percent of the votes, or 16.3 million; while Jalili received 44.3 percent or 13.5 million.

The Delta State Police Command has arrested four suspected kidnappers, who allegedly abducted a male victim on the 17th of May in Ughelli and murdered him in cold blood.

Police Public Relations Officer, SP Bright Edafe, disclosed this in a WhatsApp message he sent to our correspondent in Warri on Saturday afternoon.

The Police image maker said one of the suspects, was dead without providing details of his death.

He noted that the three other suspects are in custody.
