Mr. Wang Chuanfeng, a 59-year-old security guard working at the mall, along with a passerby, bravely fought against the storm to rescue the distressed mother and child.
Fortunately, they managed to bring the pair back to safety amidst the driving rain and powerful winds.
In recognition of his bravery, the shopping mall management awarded Mr. Wang a 500 Chinese yuan reward and an honorary certificate.
