As the 2024-25 Premier League season approaches, English top-flight clubs are preparing for pre-season friendlies, according to Man Utd News.
Among them, Manchester United are poised to bounce back from a disappointing 2023-24 season, which saw them finish eighth in the league.
In a bid to regain their former glory, Manchester United has meticulously planned their pre-season fixtures.
The club announced in February that they will embark on a tour to the United States.
Their pre-season kicks off on July 15 with a match against Rosenborg at the Lerkendal Stadion. Following this, they will clash with Rangers on July 20 at Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh.
The team will then head to the United States for a trio of high-profile matches. They will face Arsenal at the SoFi Stadium on July 28.
Continuing their tour, Manchester United is set to play Real Betis on August 1 at the Snapdragon Stadium. The pre-season excitement ends with a showdown against Liverpool on August 4 at the Brice Stadium in South Carolina.
Additionally, the Red Devils have a crucial fixture on August 10, where they will compete against Manchester City in the FA Community Shield at Wembley Stadium.
This match is a huge one as Manchester United and Manchester City have contested the last two FA Cup finals, with Erik ten Hag outsmarting Pep Guardiola in the most recent encounter.
