Dele Momodu, a prominent figure, has spoken out against the actions of Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, who publicly insulted Ireti Kingibe, a senator, and suggested she harm herself on national television.
Momodu expressed his disappointment and shame at the National Assembly's failure to denounce Wike's behavior, stating, "Power drunkenness, a 56-year-old man insulting a 70-year-old woman, a senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria telling her to go and hug a transformer and die on national television, and the National Assembly has not called the bluff off this man who acts like Nigeria now has two presidents."
He also questioned President Tinubu's inaction, asking, "How many votes and how much money did this Wike man give Tinubu that he is allowing him to go rampage in Rivers, FCT, and some other parts of Nigeria?"
Momodu's criticism was aimed at the weakness of Nigeria's democratic institutions and the enabling of Wike's behavior. He concluded by asking, "If you are being praised as Mr. Project, is that enough reason to turn yourself into God?"
Dele Momodu criticism was shared on his Instagram page.
