Alex Pereira knocks out Jiri Prochazka with brutal head kick

Alex Pereira continued his dominance of the Light Heavyweight with a head-kick knock-out win against Jiri Prochazka in the main event of UFC 303.

Alex Pereira is rapidly ascending the pantheon of great fighters after securing his championship defense in the UFC 303 main event with yet another astounding knockout.

Pereira entered the bout on short notice to take the place of an injured Conor McGregor, yet he emerged from it appearing as though he had just completed a ten-week training camp, surgically dissecting Jiri Prochazka's feet.

From some of the most vicious leg kicks in the sport to what are perhaps the strongest hands in the UFC, Pereira displayed all of his weapons.

After dropping a left hook on Prochazka at the close of the opening round, Pereira almost put an end to the battle, but he concluded the bout with a head kick that went viral as soon as the second round started.

At UFC 303, Pereira put a stop to Prochazka's night with a knockout just 13 seconds into the second frame, capping off another incredible performance.

This made it possible for Pereira to land his trademark left hook, which came after a jab that merely jabbed at Prochakza from the outside.

The second round began with a kick from Pereira that struck Prochazka in the head and knocked him to the ground.

Referee Herb Dean gave the first fight extra time to go as Pereira kept hammering away with punches, despite some complaining that it may have been stopped early.

In a UFC career full of them, it was just another incredible performance as Pereira triumphs spectacularly once more.

Pereira may be planning a third title in the near future after winning two divisions in a blink of an eye.
