Asisat Oshoala scored the only goal as Bay Football Club defeated Louisville Football Club 1-0 in their fixture in the National Women's Soccer League (NWSC). Super Falcons of Nigeria Striker who joined the United States of America club side from Barcelona Women's Team, was incredibly in the game and also made history after scoring from the penalty spot in the second half of the game, following a foul in the 18 yard box.
According to the post on the verified Facebook page of Bay Football Club, Asisat Oshoala has become the first player in the club's history to score score a penalty kick. The club, which was founded on the 4th of April 2023 have never been awarded a penalty kick before since their inception.
With the historic goal, the Super Falcons' striker has now scored 3 goals for her team in 14 appearances in the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL).
