A Nigerian man sparked conversation on social media after his girlfriend returned his phone following her rejection of his marriage proposal with a diamond ring.
This was revealed in a fresh video making waves on the popular social media platform TikTok.
In the video, the man, who was already on his knees with a ring, openly asked his girlfriend to marry him but faced rejection as the woman acted uninterested.
The man waited on his knees for several minutes, asking her to accept the ring, but instead, she delayed and stayed away from him, acting proud and uninterested.
At one point, the woman brought out the phone believed to have been bought for her by the man and asked him to take it back if he wanted it.
Without hesitation, he took back the phone and walked out of the restaurant where the incident took place.
