Asari Dokubo, a leader in the Kalabari kingdom, has stated that former Governor Nyesom Wike, who is often seen as a powerful figure, was driven out of all the local government areas in Rivers State by the people of the state. In a video Asari Dokubo shared on his Facebook page, he said that the people of Rivers State are strong and will not be easily intimidated. He warned those who continue to provoke the residents of Rivers State that their efforts will ultimately fail. He also added that the people of Rivers State are capable of standing up against Wike's influence In Asari Dokubo's words: "That Wike who people say is so powerful, come and see him, Rivers people chased him away from all the local governments even with the support of the police. Continue provoking the people of Rivers State, we will continue to restrain ourselves and we will watch you, but you will never succeed.
