Man Utd executives angry with Erik Ten Hag for disclosing information of Ibiza meeting

The management of Manchester United are pissed with Erik Ten Hag after the manager disclosed information about their Ibiza discussion.

A few weeks back, Ten Hag's position was in jeopardy following an awful performance last season from the team.

However, an internal discussion was done by the Man United owners and the conclusion to continue with the Dutch manager was made.

While on vacation, the Red Devils manager received a knock on his door from club executives asking him to stay on as manager.

Man United owners fume at Ten Hag

Ratcliffe oversees every aspect of football operations at United and holds a 27.7% ownership stake in the team. His right-hand man is Sir David Brailsford, and he hired Jason Wilcox as his technical director.

The FA Cup-winning manager recently had an interview in which he spoke about the club owners travelling down to Ibiza to inform him that he will remain Man United manager.

According to the Sun, Sir Jim Ratcliffe, the new part-owner, and his group are not happy that the manager revealed on Dutch television last week what they believed to be a private discussion.

It is yet to be known if any action or disciplinary action will be taken against Ten Hag for disclosing the details of the meeting.

Meanwhile, Ten Hag has received a new three-year contract offer from Man United, although it is naturally far from being finalised.
