Manchester United's schedule for the 2024/25 Premier League season has been unveiled, with the team set to kick off at Old Trafford against Fulham, according to Metro.

Erik ten Hag's men will also wrap up their campaign at home, facing Aston Villa on the final day.

Despite speculation of significant changes from INEOS and Sir Jim Ratcliffe, the club's leadership has chosen to support Ten Hag, especially after his FA Cup victory over Manchester City last season.

This decision was a notable shift after the club had considered former Bayern Munich and Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel for the position.

Instead, United are now focusing on negotiating a new contract for the Dutch manager as he enters his third full season.

Ratcliffe and his INEOS team will soon see if their decision to back Ten Hag pays off when United faces Liverpool, led by Arne Slot, in the third game of the season at Old Trafford.

The return fixture against Liverpool is scheduled for January 4 at Anfield, preceding the first Manchester derby of the season on December 14.
