Napoli have released an official statement saying that their star player, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, is not for sale.
The Napoli star was a crucial team member, having helped the team win their first Scudetto in 33 years.
However, with the disappointing performance of the team last season, the forward has been linked to several clubs.
The Georgian winger has been the subject of transfer rumours, with his agent pushing for a move away from the Serie A club.
Napoli statement
The rumours of a transfer for Kvaratskhelia linking him to top teams in Europe have led to Napoli issuing an official statement.
According to Fabrizio on X, Napoli released an official statement on social media that says, "After Kvaratskhelia's camp statement, we want to remind him that he's under contract until June 2027.
"Kvaratskelia is not for sale. Player's agents do not decide where they are going, but it's Napoli deciding when they are under contract."
Napoli have rebuffed every transfer linking their star player to top clubs, including Paris Saint-Germain.
The French giants recently lost Kylian Mbappe to Real Madrid and are looking for a replacement ahead of next season.
Meanwhile, Kvaratskhelia will play in Georgia's first-ever major international tournament match on Tuesday in Group F of Euro 2024 against Turkey.
