Manchester United are reportedly expected to sign at least one player before the end of next week with the club already leading in one of their deals.
The Red Devils are in the market to sign a new centre-forward this summer and were discussing a possible deal for RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko, only for the forward to announce yesterday that he won't be making any move this summer.
With Rasmus Hojlund the only senior striker at the club following the departure of Anthony Martial as a free agent, the club have continued their search for another striker - he is expected to provide competition for Hojlund and options for Man Utd manager Erik ten Hag.
To that regards, Sky Sports claims that Manchester United are currently leading the race to sign Bologna forward Joshua Zirkzee and are looking to seal a deal for him as soon as possible.
However, United are not the only ones interested in the player with Sky Sports also claiming that the Red Devils are facing competition from Premier League rivals Arsenal and Serie A giants AC Milan and Juventus.
Nonetheless, the Old Trafford side remain confident about landing the Bologna star who has a release clause of £34m in his current contract with the club. The striker enjoyed a good season with Bologna, scoring 12 goals in 37 appearances.
