Although Erik ten Hag's future as Manchester United manager remains up in the air, the club are pressing ahead with their transfer plans under new co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe
Manchester United are set for a busy summer, with the Red Devils hoping to bounce back from a disappointing campaign.
United slumped to their worst-ever Premier League finish last season, but will still compete in the Europa League after they beat rivals Manchester City to win the FA Cup. The future of manager Erik ten Hag remains up in the air as a result.
Sir Jim Ratcliffe is now in full control of football operations and Ten Hag's future is the first issue that needs to be resolved. United have also been linked with a host of potential signings, while several players could be on their way out. The club released their retained list on Wednesday, with the likes of Raphael Varane and Anthony Martial getting released. With all that in mind, take a look at all of the latest transfer news and rumours...
Rashford urged to quit
Marcus Rashford has been told to quit United and relaunch his career at Arsenal.
"I think if you added Rashford to Arsenal's attack, with the pace that he has, Arsenal would destroy the opposition," former Gunners star Bacary Sagna told CoinPoker. "Adding Rashford to an extremely talented squad would be a frightening prospect for Arsenal's rivals.
"I would love to see Marcus Rashford at Arsenal. Rashford is so quick. I think having Rashford would enable Arsenal to have more variety in attack and I would love to see Gabriel Jesus and Marcus Rashford in the same team, pressing with so much intensity."
Transfer priority identified
United have been urged to sign a midfielder in the mould of former Tottenham and Fulham star Mousa Dembele.
Speaking exclusively to Mirror Football via bestcasino.co.uk, former United star Lee Sharpe said: "I'd love to see a dribbling, aggressive midfielder that can take the ball from defence to attack. Like Dembele used to be for Spurs.
"Like Ross Barkley has done this year for Luton, how he has picked the ball up off the back four, had the ability to drop the shoulder and go past someone and carry the ball from just outside our box to just outside the opponent's box within a matter of seconds. I think that's what we're missing."
Wan-Bissaka bid rejected
According to Turkish outlet Fotomac, as per Sport Witness, United have rejected an offer from Galatasaray for Wan-Bissaka.
Galatasaray are looking to sign a new right-back, having sold Sacha Boey to Bayern Munich last summer and released Serge Aurier. The report states Wan-Bissaka was their top target, with a €10million (£8.5m) bid rebuffed by United.
However, it is claimed that talks remain ongoing between the two sides. Wan-Bissaka is under contract for another year at Old Trafford, with United triggering an option to extend his deal in January.
