Chelsea has officially announced the departure of three players at the end of the season as their contracts expire on June 30.
The most prominent among them is Thiago Silva, who bid a heartfelt farewell to the Chelsea faithful after the final home game of the Premier League campaign.
Silva, who joined the club in 2020, leaves behind a legacy of success, having clinched the Champions League, UEFA Super Cup, and FIFA Club World Cup during his tenure at Stamford Bridge.
He will be returning to his native Brazil to join Fluminense.
Additionally, Josh Brooking, who arrived from Reading in 2018/19 and featured prominently for the Under-18s and Under-21s, will also be departing.
Noah Hay, a second-year scholar at the Academy level, is set to leave at the end of the month.
While Samuel Rak-Sakyi has been offered a contract extension, further updates on player contracts will be provided in due course.
Chelsea expresses gratitude to each departing player for their contributions and wishes them success in their future endeavors.
