Real Madrid legends, Toni Kroos, Luka Modric, Dani Carvajal and Nacho have now become the most decorated players in the history of the UEFA Champions League, winning a record six titles after a 2-0 win over Borussia Dortmund.
Dortmund was the better side in the first half of the game but failed to make the best of their chances of the day, as Madrid held on in defense after the first 45 minutes.
The second half however became a different story.
Veteran fullback Dani Carvajal opened the scoring for Los Blancos after 74 minutes with a soothing header off a Toni Kroos cross, before Vinicius Jr scored the second to seal the win on the night in Wembley.
Real Madrid now has 15 titles to their name but have these legends to thank after attaining such a historic feat.
For Toni Kroos, it is the perfect ending to a stellar career after announcing his retirement from football about a fortnight ago.
He has been at the peak of his powers as a midfielder, relentlessly consistent at the highest level while playing alongside 2018 Ballon D'or winner Luka Modric for the past decade.
Dani Carvajal and Nacho now surpass the legendary Paulo Maldini as the defenders with the most Champions League titles and medals to their name.
However, the defensive duo had to battle some health issues that almost stood in their way of participating in the global sport.
Nacho was diagnosed with diabetes at age 12, and it seemed he would not be able to achieve his dream of playing football at a competitive level.
However, the doctor who communicated that diagnosis, had it wrong, and the Spanish defender has now gone on to defy the odds with belief, leading Real Madrid to its 15th title as club captain.
For Carvajal, he was diagnosed with a heart infection back in 2017.
One that places his name on the highest of ranks for full backs in European football glory.
The spirited character of Real Madrid has shown what a powerhouse the Spanish club is, and this quartet of Real legends have demonstrated why Los Blancos remains the most iconic and successful team in football history.
They now surpass the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Isco and Gareth Bale as the players with the most titles in the history of Europe's premium club competition.
Hala Madrid as said in Spain with sheer delight is now sang all over.
Cheers roll out in Wembley after the "we go for 15" chant with says in Spanish, A Por La 15!
