Transfer: Two Chelsea players to be used in Osimhen's deal revealed

Football transfer market expert Rudy Galetti has named two players Chelsea could use as makeweights in a deal to sign Victor Osimhen from Napoli.

According to him, Cesare Casadei and David Fofana could be in line to move to Napoli for Osimhen to join the Blues.

Galetti is now suggesting that Casadei or Fofana might be sent the opposite direction as the sacrificial lamb.

Casadei joined Chelsea side in the summer of 2022, but has made just 10 appearances for Mauricio Pochettino's side.

He spent last season on loan with Championship side Reading and was at Leicester City on another loan deal earlier on in the campaign but got recalled in January.

Fofana, on the other hand, is currently on a loan deal with Burnley, with his future looking uncertain at the moment.

"As for the transfer chapter, Chelsea want Victor Osimhen, who will leave Napoli at the end of the season, more and more," he told AreaNapoli via Sport Witness.

"The Blues want to negotiate the terms of the release clause and it cannot be ruled out that the English club will try to include players such as Casadei or David Fofana in the negotiation to lower the price, although Napoli are not open to negotiating the price and are only asking for cash.

"With Victor a personal agreement is not so far away and the parties will continue talking in the coming."
