Ghana midfielder, Mohammed Kudus, has scooped the Goal of the Season award at West Ham United with his amazing goal against Freiburg in the Europa League.
The West Ham star dribbled past four Freiburg players before firing home with his weaker foot in the 5-0 thrashing of the Bundesliga side in the second leg of the round of 16 clash.
The former Ajax forward netted twice in that match at the London Olympic Stadium as the Hammers reached the quarter-finals of the European competition.
The Messi-esque goal was voted the Goal of the Season by fans of the club as Kudus crowns an outstanding campaign with West Ham's first award of the year, as spotted on social media.
Kudus is expected to win other awards at the club following his dazzling performances in his first season in the English Premier League.
The 23-year-old faces competition from Jarrod Bowen and Lucas Paqueta for the Player of the Season award at West Ham.
The Right to Dream Academy Graduate scored 13 goals and delivered five assists in the soon-to-end season, per Trasfermarkt.
Kudus could add to his tally when West Ham host Luton Town on Saturday.
Kudus eyes strong finish to the season
The Ghana international has set sights on finishing the campaign strongly as the Hammers welcome Luton Town to the London Olympic Stadium.
"We are expecting a difficult game, as Luton are still fighting to stay in the division, but we will be up for it as we still have something to play for. We continue to take each game as it comes, and we're fully focused on this weekend," he said.
"The energy has to be up after the disappointment [last weekend], and we need to bounce back. Training has been good this week, so we are prepared and ready. It's the last home game of the season, so we want to give the fans a nice experience and a positive finish. It has to be a memorable one."
