Manchester United legend, Paul Scholes, has expressed strong criticism towards Casemiro and Christian Eriksen following their lackluster performance in the Red Devils' Premier League 4-0 defeat against Crystal Palace on Monday.
Scholes suggested that the duo should not be at Man United.
Recall that Crystal Palace dominated with two goals in each half, including strikes from Michael Olise and Jean-Philippe Mateta.
Scholes particularly highlighted Casemiro's struggles against Olise and questioned Eriksen's suitability for a club of United's caliber, citing a perceived lack of physicality in midfield.
The former England midfielder said (via HITC): "You think of the likes of Casemiro, he's tough to have a go at it. What a player he has been over the years, but that was tough to watch, he was on his backside most of the time.
"People like Christian Eriksen as well, the physicality in the middle of the pitch has gone.
"They shouldn't be at a club of this stature, really."
