Alongside the English Premier League games this weekend are the two FA Cup semi-finals, with the first taking place on Saturday and the second following up on Sunday.
The first of the two see Manchester City hunting down back-to-back victories in the FA Cup, while Chelsea are hoping to make up for their six straight losses in domestic cup finals. Following this is the second leg which pits EFL Championship side Coventry City, who are hoping to continue on their fairytale run, against Manchester United, who will be hoping to rectify their FA Cup Final loss last year.
With these games sure to contain plenty of drama, tension and action, we've picked out our top tips and booking codes for the upcoming matches:
Manchester City vs Chelsea
Erling Haaland is coming into this game in one of the worst veins of form that he has gone through since joining Manchester City in the summer of 2022, only scoring two goals in his last nine games for both club and country.
However, after City were knocked out of the UEFA Champions League by Real Madrid during midweek, we believe that they will be out to rectify that result with a strong performance in this one. With this, we believe that Haaland will get back on the scoresheet and return to the form that has seen him score 31 goals this season.
Erling Haaland to score anytime, 1.80
As mentioned, Manchester City were disappointingly knocked out of the Champions League by Real Madrid during midweek, losing 4-3 on penalties after the scores remained level after 210 minutes.
This is only going to fire City up to claim other trophies as they look to rectify that loss, and with them now coming up against Chelsea, who they haven't lost to since the Champions League final in 2021, we believe City will be victorious here.
Manchester City to win & over 2.5 goals, 2.10
Coventry City vs Manchester United
Bruno Fernandes has been one of Manchester United's shining lights ever since joining the club in January 2020, often delivering top performances to drag his side through games then the rest of the side aren't up to scratch.
This has been the case once again in recent weeks, with Bruno scoring and creating plenty of goals that have helped his side pick up rather undeserved results based on their lacklustre performances.
He comes into this game having scored five in his last five matches for both club and country, and we expect this goalscoring form to continue as Bruno drags his side to another final.
Bruno Fernandes to score anytime, 2.50
Manchester United come into this game in rather poor form, failing to win in any of their last four matches but also losing just once.
Their previous victory came in this competition when they fantastically beat fierce rivals Liverpool 4-3 with Amad Diallo scoring the winning goal in the 120th minute of the game, in one of the best FA Cup ties we have seen in recent years.
After making the FA Cup Final last season, where they lost to rivals Manchester City as part of their treble, United will be hoping to make up for that loss and return to the final this season.
Coventry are currently eighth in Championship but have hit some poor form themselves, losing three of their last four matches. While The Sky Blues will serve as a tough opponent as they look to continue their fairytale run in the cup, we believe that Manchester United's quality will prove far too much for Coventry as United go on to win the match. However, with both teams vulnerable at the back but potent in attack, expect goals in this one.
