The EFCC has received pleas from Nigerian musician Habeeb Okikiola, better known by his stage name Portable, for allegedly dousing his followers in cash.

The six-month prison term for Nigerian transvestite Okuneye Idris, popularly known as Bobrisky, might have made celebrities who often spray Naira in public exercise extra caution.

Street artist Portable revealed that, in an effort to spread generosity, he gives his fans around N2 million in spray paint every day.

Most Nigerians seem to be more cautious now that crossdresser Okuneye Idris, also known as Bobrisky, received a six-month prison sentence.

This is especially true for celebrities who often spray Naira in public.

Recall how Portable once declared that he gives his followers daily spray paint valued at around N2 million.

The street performer said in a recent live chat that his performances make people more kind.

When a video of him showering cash went viral, the leader of the Zeh Nation label appeared terrified of the consequences and asked for forgiveness from the government and the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), an anti-graft organization.

Declaring that he would no longer be spraying money, Portable asked his followers to open bank accounts and that he would only be making transfers.

In Portable's words:

"I didn't deface the Naira, I help a lot of people, After God na Government, Please forgive me if you have videos of me spraying money, no more spraying of money."
