Manchester City boss, Pep Guardiola, has said Erling Haaland's target is not to win the Ballon d'Or.
Guardiola stated this while speaking to the media on Friday, ahead of the visit of Luton Town in the Premier League this weekend.
Haaland has come under criticism lately, with former Manchester United captain Roy Keane, comparing the striker to a "League Two player".
Guardiola was asked how Haaland could get better and he replied: "Play more minutes, learn what you have to do.
"The target is not to win the Ballon d'Or, the target is to win the Premier League, Champions League, FA Cup, Carabao Cup and he did it.
"Without him, it would not be possible. No chance, impossible. He is a key player for us."
