Manchester City boss, Pep Guardiola, has joked he will be supporting Manchester United when they host Liverpool this weekend.
Guardiola's men are locked in a three-way fight for the Premier League title with Liverpool and Arsenal.
City currently sit third following their 0-0 draw with the Gunners last weekend.
Liverpool are top of the table, with their trip to United one of the most tricky games left for them this season.
The Reds are three points ahead of City after beating Brighton on Sunday.
Although City and United are fierce rivals, Guardiola would not mind supporting Erik ten Hag's side this weekend.
A defeat or draw for Liverpool at Old Trafford would blow the title race wide open.
"Always I support United!" Guardiola replied, when asked if he would support United.
When pressed on if he was being serious, the City boss replied: "Not really, but anyway..."
