After the quarter final draw of the UEFA Champions League, Bayern has been confronted with a lot of unfavorable conditions. Recently the club has suffered the loss of two key players, Sacha Boey and Manuel Neuer due to injury.
In the latest announcement, the reigning German champions provided an update on Boey, the French man who left Galatasaray in the winter to join Bayern that the 23 year old has recently torn a ligament in his left ankle during training session. Medical team has stated that he will be out of action for several weeks.
Whereas, goalkeeper Neuer was summoned by the German head coach, Nagelsmann in preparation for their ties between France and Netherlands. However his training session was short lived due to a thigh injury. Neuer has returned to Bayern for rehabilitation instead of staying with the German squad.
The precise time for Neuer's recovery is uncertain at the moment. The simultaneous injuries to both him and Boey has presented the club with a great minus, especially in their champions league race this season. This will make Arsenal have an upper hand against the German champions.
