UCL: Osimhen set to make history with another goal against Barcelona

OSimhen

Victor Osimhen's Napoli faces a daunting prospect tonight as they come up against Spanish champions Barcelona in the UEFA Champions League round of 16 second leg tie.

The 25-year-old scored a crucial equalizer in the last quarter of the game to steer his side clear off defeat in the first leg in what was his 9th UCL goal.

Polish international Robert Lewandowski had given the Blaugrana's the lead earlier in the second half following a fine assist from Pedri Gonzalez.

The Super Eagles striker who has been in fine form since returning from the AFCON is expected to lead the lines again when Napoli go head-to-head with Xavi Hernandez's side at the Estadi Olimpic Lluis Companys.

Osimhen will become the Nigerian player with the most UEFA Champions League goals if he manages to squeeze one past Barca's Marc-André ter Stegen tonight.

Currently, the reigning African Player of The Year is levelled with Obafemi Martins on 9 UEFA Champions League goals.
