The Rivers State Commissioner of Police, Olatunji Disu, recently shared an account of the aftermath of the joint security raid that led to the killing of Gift Okpara, also known as 2Baba, the notorious leader of the Iceland cult group. 2Baba, the prime suspect in the heinous murder of former Divisional Police Officer Bako Angbashim met his end during a joint security raid on February 19 in Ebrass forest, Ahoada West LGA
In a report by Punch, Disu revealed that after the recovery and transportation of 2Baba's body to Ahoada at midnight, women from all corners came out, crying and cursing the deceased. He mentioned that it left him contemplating what the deceased must have done to incur such curses, even in death.
In Disu's words: "When his (2Baba) body was taken to Ahoada at midnight, women from all angles came out, they were crying and raining curses on the body. That got me emotional and kept me thinking what could he have done against women to receive their curses even in death? It was later that men started coming out"
