Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has singled out goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher for praise following his 'unbelievable and mature performance' in the Carabao Cup final 1-0 win over Chelsea on Sunday.
Kelleher was one of the stars of the match as the Irishman made a number of top saves to keep the game goalless until Virgil van Dijk headed home after 118 minutes.
Speaking at his post-match interview after the Reds defeated Chelsea, Klopp said his club has the best goalkeeper in the world in Alisson Becker and the best understudy in the game in Kelleher.
"I'm happy with him [Kelleher], very happy with him," Klopp said.
"He played a very good game. Unbelievable! What a mature performance."
He added,
"We have the best goalie in the world and the best number two in the world. I'm very happy for him, top game."
