A Nigerian wife got many people talking with a letter she wrote to her husband, who is the proprietor and her boss in a school where she works, seeking his approval for her to be absent from work.
This is contained in a post captioned:
"I came in late last night, so I decided to write a letter of permission to be absent from work to my boss who happens to be my husband ๐โบ๏ธ. Keeping it formal with a little dose of extra."
In the said post, a neatly written letter was visibly seen, a letter believed to have been written by the wife to her husband, seeking his approval for her to be absent from work.
The said letter reads:
"I am writing this letter to seek permission for being absent from work on today, 18 January 2024, due to an immediate need for rest."
"Also, this is an avenue to practice what I preach to the students, especially the junior secondary students in their home economics classes."
"Although I will not be in the school during this period, I will still be available via email or phone. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions."
The wife made several other statements in the letter which have been attached below.
Not long after the letter made its way to social media, concerned individuals stormed the comment page of the post to share their thoughts.
