Arsenal legend, Thierry Henry, has hailed midfielder Declan Rice despite the Gunners' Champions League 1-0 defeat to FC Porto in the round of 16 first leg encounter on Wednesday.
Henry said Rice is so important to Mikel Arteta's side, adding that what he liked about the England international during the match was that he took a yellow card after just two minutes.
Rice put in a decent display at the Estadio do Dragao as Porto defeated the Premier League North London club, thanks to a late goal from Wenderson Galeno.
"He's stopping what people don't notice at times," Henry said on CBS Sports.
"What I like is that he took a yellow after two minutes and stayed in the game.
"You will see, you can see him here. He blocks the shot. But at the beginning, he is looking at what is happening here [on the edge of the box]. He did it so many times in the game. With a yellow. That is not an easy one, this is why he is so important for the team."
