The Super Eagles of Nigeria goalkeeper, Stanley Nwabali has paid a courtesy visit to the owner of his boyhood club, Felix Obuah of Go Round FC
In a post on his Facebook page, Nwabali noted that he started his football career at Go Round and a visit to the owner after the AFCON journey is all about not neglecting his humble begining.
The post reads;
"Don't Forget The Fingers That Feeds you.I made a special visit to sir Felix Obuah, irrespective of my return from the Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast.
I started my Football Career at the Go Round FC Omoku in Rivers State which is owned by sir Felix Obuah A.k.a Go Round"
Nwabali won the heart of many Nigerians with his impressive show for the Super Eagles throughout the tournament. His performance is seen to have brought stability to the goalkeeping department of the team which has been hitherto unsettled.
In some breadth, he is also seen as an ambassador of the Nigerian domestic league where he plied his trade until 2022 when he moved Chippa United in South Africa.
The Rivers State-born goalkeeper has days with Enyimba FC, Katsina United and Lobi Stars before moving to South Africa.
Reports have it that his performance at AFCON is now attracting a lot of interest from a lot top clubs.
