Over the weekend, it was reported that a helicopter crash occurred in the United States involving Herbert Wigwe, the group's CEO of Access Holdings Plc. In the unfortunate incident in California near the Nevada border, Mr. Wigwe, accompanied by his wife and son, along with Mr. Abimbola Ogunbanjo, the former group chairman of Nigerian Exchange Group Plc (NGX Group), found themselves involved in a helicopter crash.
The Group Chief Executive Officer, Access Holdings Plc, Herbert Wigwe, is feared dead. Wigwe was reported to have died following a helicopter crash in California near the Nevada border, United States of America, The Will reports. There are also reports that his wife and son were also onboard the ill-fated helicopter.
With all that happening, prominent Nigerians across all sectors, have sent out their condolences to the family. The likes of Dangote, Pat Utomi, Gov. Dapo Abiodun paying a visit to the family of Herbert Wigwe. Amid all that, a video has reportedly surfaced online showing Herbert Wigwe's multi-billion-naira private residence in Ikoyi, Lagos, opened late last year.
