A Grammy nominated Nigerian Musician, Seun Kuti, has stated that his family are no longer part of the elites in Nigeria because of how his family were treated many years ago when his grandmother was killed, and their family house was also burnt in 1977.
Seun Kuti made this statement during an interview with a journalist on Channels Television where he appeared to discuss the economic and political situation in Nigeria During the interview, Seun Kuti said, "my family committed class suicide and it is evident by the burning of our house and the Killing of my father's mother in 1977."
"We were in the elitist group but they kicked us out long time ago. You know when some men kick their wives out and you see their loads outside, that was how they kicked us out. It was not some secret pushing out." Remember that Seun Kuti is one of the sons of the legendary late Nigerian musician, Fela Kuti.
