Liverpool regained their five-point lead at the top of the Premier League table after thumping Chelsea 4-1 at Anfield on Wednesday night. With Arsenal winning on Tuesday and Manchester City earlier wrapping up a comfortable win over Burnley, three points were very much necessary for the Reds at Anfield. However, it was clear from early on that Liverpool would have no issues as they romped past a tepid Chelsea side that offered little. While Jurgen Klopp's team restored their advantage at the summit, the Blues remain tenth having suffered their first defeat since 24 December.
Here are the three worst players from the game
Benoit Badiashile
A couple of important tackles early on to give him confidence, with a crunching one on Diogo Jota five minutes in. He and Silva poor for Jota's goal. Gives away the penalty, too, so not his best day by any means.
Raheem Sterling
Booed every time he touched the ball, as expected. He was not able to shut the home supporters up, either, in what was a quiet display from Sterling.
Cole Palmer
A flat performance as the false 9 where he often lost possession in good areas, but switched to a no10 role the second half. He was not impactful there, either.
