The Super Eagles of Nigeria will be seeking to maintain their recent impressive form in the ongoing 2023 Africa Cup of Nations when they square off against the Palancas Negras of Angola on Friday, in their next game of the tournament.
The three-time AFCON winners will be going into the high-profile clash after their convincing 2-0 victory over the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon in their last game, and they will be hoping to get another win over the Palancas Negras in a bid to advance to the semi-final phase of the competition.

The Super Eagles of Nigeria could be going into Friday's game without the services of Stanley Nwabali, who is currently undergoing treatment for the injury he sustained against Cameroon on Saturday.
However, if Stanley Nwabali is unable to recover on time for the game against Angola, Francis Uzoho is expected to make the starting lineup for the showdown on Friday.
