Dr Dk Olukoya, the founder and presiding General Overseer of Yaba-based Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries, in a message shared on his official Facebook page, has revealed what believers need to do to prophecy.
According to the cleric, in a message titled, Prophetic Vitamins, he has revealed in his words, concerning prophecy thus; "Prophecies are divinely inspired utterances or messages from the Lord. Moses, Isaac, Joseph, John the Baptist, Jesus Christ, and many more, were all products of prophecies in the Bible". One thing that will strike you as you read the Bible from the first page to the last is that one-third of the Bible is prophecy. God gave us dominion, and it is through the mouth. Your mouth is a vehicle in the hands of God to express His word and power. Through the mouth, we can prophesy and declare what we want for our lives.
The cleric has then revealed four things believers can do to prophesy. Below are the things, as shared by the cleric.
1. You Must Seek It; as a believer, you must covet the spirit of prophecy. You must seek it painstakingly, with prayers and fastings.
2. You Must Heed It; once you are spiritually endowed you must be deeply connected to it through obedience and humility in following the leading of the Holy Spirit in its manifestation.
3. Read It & Live By It; as a believer, you must live a prophetic life. You must always read the scriptures and abide by all the instructions.
4. You Must Believe It; as a believer, who longs for the gift of prophecy you must believe it. Your interest in it must be well.
