John Obi Mikel has said that his former Chelsea teammate, Didier Drogba behaved like a woman during their time together at Stamford Bridge.
The ex-Nigeria international said that Drogba only looked forward to playing the big games when he was at Chelsea.
Drogba was one of the best and most accomplished strikers in the world during his playing days. The Ivorian scored 104 goals and registered 64 assists during his time at Chelsea.
Speaking in a recent episode of The Obi One podcast, Mikel said the Ivory Coast legend likes attention more than a man is supposed to.
According to the former Super Eagles captain, Drogba performs exceptionally when he is pampered and given a lot of attention.
He recalled how Drogba loved playing against big teams the most because he loves the challenge that big games present.
Mikel said; "Drogba loves the big games; he was a guy who enjoyed it. When it was the little games, like when you're playing the FA Cup or playing against small clubs like Stoke or other small clubs, Drogba never wanted to play those games.
"For him, it was the big games. The big games were what he lived for- the Champions League nights, Manchester United and Liverpool, that's where you see a Didier Drogba.
"From that week, on a Monday leading up to the weekend on Saturday, you can see his mood, you can feel that he's engaged. He wants those games; he wants the challenge because he knows that the manager will turn on him because the manager will say that he will win the game for us.
"He loves a little bit of attention; Didier behaves like a woman. You pamper him, give him a lot of attention, and he produces. But he was always there for us in the big games".
