Well, let's review some of the matches played in the AFCON matchday two.
The Nigerian National Team finally had a win to celebrate in the competition when they were hosted by Ivory Coast at the Stade Olympique Alassane Outtara. The Super Eagles worked collectively as a team to secure a hard-fought 1-0 win over Ivory Coast thanks to a lone goal from William Troost-Ekong.
Senegal made it two consecutive wins in the tournament when they battled Struggling Cameroon at the Stade de Yamoussoukro. The Teranga Lions were up to the task despite facing a top opponent as they convincingly defeated Cameroon 3-1 thanks to goals from Sadio Mane, Habib Diallo, and Ismaïla Sarr.
Ghana still couldn't secure their first win in this year's edition of the AFCON as they played a disappointing 2-2 draw with Egypt despite being ahead twice in this match. Mohammed Kudus' brace wasn't just enough to help the Black Stars secure all three important points from this game.
