• Done Deal: Sergio Reguilón completes Brentford medical
The Spanish left-back is set to join the Bees until the end of the season, after having his loan spell at Manchester United terminated earlier this month. Reguilón, who joined Spurs from Real Madrid in 2020, is looking for regular game time and will bolster Brentford's defence as they aim for a top-half finish in the Premier League.
• Done Deal: Renan Lodi signs for Al-Hilal
The Brazilian defender has left Olympique de Marseille after just six months in France, and has joined the Saudi Arabian giants on a contract until 2027. Lodi, who moved to Marseille from Atlético Madrid for €20m, will play alongside stars such as Neymar, Malcom, Bono, Milinković-Savić, Ruben Neves and Koulibaly at Al-Hilal, who have paid OM a fee in excess of €20m.
• Mbappe Offered New Contract
The French champions are desperate to keep their star forward, who is out of contract at the end of the season and has been linked with a move to Real Madrid. PSG have reportedly offered Mbappé a new deal that would make him the highest-paid player in the world, earning £86m per season. Mbappé has not yet decided on his future, but PSG are hoping to persuade him to stay in Paris.
• Jesse Lingard offers himself to Barcelona
The former Manchester United and England midfielder has been without a club since leaving Nottingham Forest in July 2023, after a disappointing spell in the Premier League. Lingard has now reportedly offered himself to Barcelona, hoping to revive his career at the Camp Nou. However, it is unlikely that the Catalan club will be interested in the 31-year-old, who has not played at the top level for a long time.
• Liverpool plot transfer move for Levi Colwill
The Reds are looking to strengthen their defence, and have identified Chelsea and England youngster Levi Colwill as a target. Colwill, 20, has impressed on loan at Huddersfield Town this season, playing as a centre-back and a left-back. Liverpool are hoping to tempt Colwill with the promise of playing in his preferred position, as he has been used as a left-back by Mauricio Pochettino at Chelsea
• José Mourinho lined up for Portugal job
The Portuguese manager, who was sacked by Roma after a poor run of results, could be set for a return to his homeland as the national team coach. Mourinho, 60, has never managed a national team before, but has expressed his interest in doing so in the future. Portugal are currently without a manager, after Fernando Santos stepped down following their disappointing exit from the 2024 World Cup.
