The NPower Boss, Nigeria's Poverty Alleviation Minister, Betta Edu, faced a tough day as she got suspended by President Bola Tinubu and received an invitation from the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). Her Aso Villa pass, which allows access to the Presidential Villa, was also taken away. This happened because of serious questions about how money was handled in her ministry.

The President suspended Edu right away and asked the EFCC to investigate the money matters in the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation where she worked. The EFCC invited her to come and talk about what's going on.

According to reports, Edu might have asked for over N585 million (Nigerian Naira) to be moved to a private account, and this has raised a lot of concerns. Her Aso Villa pass being taken away means she can't go into the Presidential Villa anymore.

The President wants a close look at how money is managed in the ministry, and this has put a spotlight on Edu's actions. As the investigation unfolds, it not only looks into Edu's choices but also asks bigger questions about how well the ministry is handling programs meant to help people in need.

The next part of this story will be Edu talking to the EFCC, where they'll try to figure out what really happened. All these events show the challenges of keeping things clear and fair at the highest levels of the government in Nigeria.
