Shehu Sani, the former senator representing the Kaduna Central Senatorial District, has taken to his official X handle to react after Betta Edu reportedly approves funds for flight tickets for staff to Kogi.
It was reported that the suspended Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, Betta Edu, allegedly approved funds for flight tickets and airport taxis for her ministry's staff to Kogi State.
It was gathered from the reports that the suspended minister gave the approval in a leaked internal memo dated November 6, 2023, which has now gone viral.
The documents seen online shows that she approved N200,000 for flight tickets and N20,000 for airport taxi for each of her 13-man team to travel from Abuja to Kogi, while she approved N300,000 for herself.
