Mark Schwarzer, the former Premier League goalkeeper, has suggested that Arsenal's Aaron Ramsdale consider a move to Manchester United this month. Schwarzer, formerly with Chelsea, believes such a move would benefit both the club and the player. Ramsdale has spent most of the season on the bench for Arsenal, playing second fiddle to David Raya, whom Mikel Arteta sees as a better distributor of the ball.
Schwarzer asserts that Ramsdale is a better player than Andre Onana and views Manchester United as an excellent destination for him. However, he acknowledges the likelihood of Ramsdale staying at Arsenal, given Erik ten Hag's preference for his summer signing. Despite this, Schwarzer notes that Manchester United could use a player like Ramsdale, even if their priorities might lie elsewhere.
In contrast, Andre Onana has faced challenges at Manchester United, drawing criticism for his performances in both the Champions League and the Premier League. The Cameroon international goalkeeper is now set to miss the next four to five weeks of action for United as he represents his country in the AFCON.
