Former President Muhammadu Buhari has commented on his life after retirement, saying that he is now properly settled at home.
In a statement he made, and reported by Newsmen, the former president said that people are coming every day to his home to see him, and that he is grateful to God for that. The former president also stated that being a former president of the country, he had the opportunity to see the good and bad sides of Nigeria.
He said, "I've seen the good and bad side of Nigeria; I thanked God I have now settled at home and people are coming to pay homage daily."
It should be recalled that ahead of his handing over to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Buhari had expressed anxiety to return to his hometown of Daura, in Katsina State.
Following his retirement from office, Buhari has received several government officials and former officials who have travelled to his hometown to see him.
