Arsenal star, Bukayo Saka has apologised to Kostas Tsimikas for breaking the Liverpool player's collarbone at Anfield on Saturday.
Tsimikas was forced off with injury during Arsenal's Premier League 1-1 draw with Liverpool after clattering into his own coach Jurgen Klopp following a battle for the ball with Saka.
The Greek left-back was taken to hospital for treatment after the challenge.
Speaking about the incident, Saka told Sky Sports:
"I have heard he's gone to hospital so I want to apologise to him.
"I didn't mean it, of course. For me it was just a 50-50 and I have gone shoulder to shoulder with him.
"I didn't see but he must have taken a bad fall, I didn't see that he went into Jurgen Klopp either.
"I was focussed on running forward because I didn't think it was a foul."
