A Nigerian lady, Emem Effiong and her physically challenged lover, Innocent Moses Ntia, tied the knot at the Christ The King Cathedral in Uyo on Saturday, December 9, 2023.
The ceremony, marked by joy and unity, demonstrated that love knows no boundaries.
The bride, Emem Effiong, took to Facebook on Wednesday, December 13, expressing gratitude and sharing glimpses of their special day.
She extended her thanks to Her Excellency, the wife of the Governor, Pastor Mrs. Patience Umo Eno, who was represented by the wives of five Local Government Area (LGA) transition committee chairmen.
"Thank God it ended in praise. Our deepest appreciation to Her Excellency, the wife of the Governor, Pastor Mrs. Patience Umo Eno that was ably represented by wives of five LGA transition committee chairmen. Mummy, Thank you for honoring us, God bless you," she wrote.
The ceremony was attended by friends, family, and well-wishers, all joining in the celebration of the union between Emem and Innocent.
Despite any challenges they may face, the couple's love prevailed, inspiring those around them.
