THIS is the disturbing moment Israeli forces reveal terrifying Hamas weapons stashed inside a teddy bear at a Gaza school.
Fierce fighting between the IDF and Hamas continued in northern Gaza last night into today, with Israeli troops claiming to have killed a group of terrorist gunmen they found in a school.
They also alleged to find a stash of weapons and military equipment within the classrooms, in the neighbourhood of Shejaiya.
In a short video posted to X/Twitter today, by IDF Spokesperson, Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari, footage showed a teddy bear being searched by soldiers.
They ripped open the large brown toy with a knife and when stuffing was removed, a gun and ammunition were chillingly revealed to be concealed inside.
The clip was captioned: "During operational activity by the 551th Division yesterday, a large teddy bear was found containing sniper rifles and ammunition inside a school.
"Additionally, in a nearby school, weaponry was found hidden in classrooms, some concealed in UNRWA bags."
Further comments were added below the video by Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari which claimed: "The Hamas terrorist organization is using children's games to conceal weapons, while deliberately putting the children of Gaza at risk.
"Throughout the war, weapons were found hidden in children's items and play areas including in a girl's backpack, under children's beds, in schools, and in playgrounds."
In the same area, the IDF alleged to have destroyed a tunnel shaft, part of a "wide" network, that included an elevator.
Meanwhile, new pictures have emerged which appear to show Israeli troops setting up pumps as they look to flood Hamas' 300-mile tunnel network with seawater.
The shocking footage on X/Twitter comes after a senior defence official claimed the Israeli military needs at least another two months to complete the first stage of its war against Hamas.
It comes despite US President Joe Biden reportedly imposing a deadline by the end of the month on Israel's offensive in war-torn Gaza.
Earlier this week saw Israel's tanks roll into southern Gaza's Khan Younis, where it is believed Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar, is hiding with his "henchmen".
He is understood to be the "mastermind" behind the atrocities of the October 7 attack, which saw the terror group brutally slaughter 1,200 men, women, and children.
It sparked fatal fighting between Israel and Hamas which has since led to the deaths of more than 17,000 Palestinians, according to Gaza's Hamas-run health ministry.
IDF official Lieutenant Colonel Peter Lerner told The Sun that Sinwar, known as "Gaza's Bin Laden", is at the very top of Israel's kill list.
Meanwhile, Israel's military chiefs vowed it will not cease its renewed offensive until he is dead.
Last night, the US vetoed a United Nations resolution demanding an immediate ceasefire in Gaza, where Palestinians are facing what the UN chief described as a "humanitarian nightmare".
Humanitarian aid agencies have urgently warned conditions are desperate need of change with the majority of its 2.3million population stuck with restricted access to food, water and medicine.
The UN estimates 1.9 million people have been displaced by the fighting so far, and Israel's new military evacuation orders are forcing civilians into ever-cramped areas.
President Biden was this week said to have given Israel until the end of the year to end its war on Hamas, according to three officials in Tel Aviv who spoke to Politico.
However, it was reportedly claimed the IDF needs three to four weeks to finish its offensive in Khan Younis - and then the same amount of time to end "the high-intensity phase" of the war.
A senior Israeli defence official told Axios that although Israel's military forces "have made significant progress" in the northern part of the Gaza Strip, the operation in Khan Younis "has just started".
They added that the US isn't "pulling the brakes", or confirmed a strict deadline to Israel end its operation in Gaza - but has stressed they are running out of time.
According to the senior Israeli defence official, there is about a one-month difference between the finish date set by the Biden administration and that by the Israeli government.
This would see operations finish at around the end of January, instead of December, as urged by the US.
The official was quoted as saying: "The US message is that they would want us to finish faster, with less civilian casualties and more humanitarian aid to Gaza.
"We want the same thing, but there is another player here and this is the enemy that doesn't agree. The US understands this. We are working together. We need them and they need us."
It comes after White House national security aide, Jon Finer, said on Thursday: "We have not given a firm deadline to Israel, not really our role. This is their conflict.
"That said, we do have influence, even if we don't have ultimate control over what happens on the ground in Gaza."
A spokesperson for the National Security Council reportedly said: "These are Israeli military operations, and the Israelis will decide their course. We will continue to support Israel's efforts to defend itself from Hamas terrorists."
